children's ministry

Tiny
Mission

Matthew 5:14 teaches that we, the church, are the light of the world. In Little Lights, our staff desires to shine the light of Christ upon every child that walks through our doors. We understand how precious children are in the sight of God. We see the responsibility of teaching and caring for every child as a privilege.

Parents
Can
Expect

Age-appropriate Bible lessons, stories, activities, play and snack time.
A safe, clean, and inviting environment.
Constant presence and love from all caregivers.

The nursery ministry was created to support the spiritual growth of parents by enabling them to fully participate in church worship service. However, over the years as the church grew so did the ministry. With the continual love and support of the church the above expectations were set. We believe the love of God finds us at any age.

Open every Sunday during worship service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Our
Vision

Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.
— Proverbs 22:6 (ESV)

Our
Commitment

Is to pray for every child we serve.
Be used by God to teach and model biblical truths.
Foster a teaching environment conducive to growth in Christ.

One day, our children will inevitably enter adulthood. It is the hope and prayer of our ministry that when that time comes and our children begin living life according to “their way” Christ is their center.

Open every Sunday during worship service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Youth
Not
Only

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born I consecrated you;
I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth.” But the Lord said to me,

“Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’;
for to all to whom I send you, you shall go,
and whatever I command you, you shall speak.
Do not be afraid of them,
for I am with you to deliver you,
declares the Lord.”
— Jeremiah 1:5-8 (ESV)

Goals
Purpose

Building relationships with peers.

Our main goal is to establish as a foundation our
“identity in Christ”, specifically who we are as children of God.
Where we fit at home and at school; in the church and in the world.
